It is very important that every student of kung fu realises that there is a direct relationship between the kung fu you do and the exercises that support your kung fu.

For example: You can increase the power of your flat palm strike just by doing pressups. In fact when you are performing a pressup you are in a palm strike position increasing your power, but you may not realise this at the time!

It is this awareness of the relationship between exercises and kung fu moves that will push you to greater heights.
